We met Vanita Velvet when she commanded the stage in an emerald costume that fought with her flaming red hair, grinding the floor, full rock ’n roll. We were blown away.
Weeks later she was at our doorstep for a class. What could we possibly teach a burlesque performer with such stage presence?
And then she didn’t just want to join our show. She also happened to have a jaw dropping pole act waiting in the wings, ready to go.
What starts like a mystical ritual explodes into a rave. You don’t hear us complaining. 😏

Academic by sunlight, seductive serpent by moonlight🌕🐍 Or technically also by sunlight in these breathtaking pictures. Look at her gorgeous lines, kissed by the light through the stained glass.
Prima ballerina, PhD researcher, fashion icon, and she still found the time to bring out her sensual side for our show, right before running straight back to TU to do whatever it is smart people do there.
Did I mention she’s also the bubbliest person in the room? We’d call it an unfair distribution of qualities, if she didn’t use them to shine on our stage😉

Pieternel is the one who manifested this show, speaking out her desire to perform more over a winter solstice bonfire. One simply cannot ignore it when Pieternel demands a stage!

She’s been with us since show one, when she stepped in two months before showtime after taking only one class. This time all that experience goes into a whole range of characters, on top of her own little headliner solo.

We’re so blessed to have her bring out her inner dom.

Wouldn’t you beg to be allowed to kneel on the floor before her, touched by those killer heels, with her presence still smeared all over it.
