Finals day today! Unfortunately our parasurfer is not competing. In her class, stand 1, arm, shoulder and wrist movement/control and strength are assessed. She has come such a long way in her recovery process, working so hard to regain her abilities, that she now would have an unfair advantage over other stand 1 surfers. Such a mixed feeling to not be able to compete, but at the same time having made such amazing progress over the last few years!
Anne we are so proud of you! How you showed your surfing skills in the first heat and what a true athlete spirit you've shown even in disappointment.
