The Phoenix headed to London yesterday for the first of two cross-conference gamedays of the 2026 bafaflag season.

In challenging conditions and soaring temperatures, the squad battled to a 2-1 record on the day, adding two more wins to the season tally.

The two wins take the Phoenix to 6-2 on the season as the squad continues to put together a strong 2026 campaign.

🔥 GAMEDAY 3️⃣ 🧊

The Phoenix head to London today for the third gameday of the 2026 season.

The first of two cross-conference gamedays sees the squad take on new opposition from the South East Conference as we look to continue our strong start to the season.

🔥Another Phoenix Rises 🔥

Welcome Jordan Lee aka J-lee to Coventry Phoenix for the 2026 BAFA season. (Yes we know we’re a few game days late 👀)

J-lee joins the squad after six seasons with the Rugby Raccoons in the OFL, including helping the team win the OFL title last year. A defensive back and blitzer with plenty of experience, he adds another strong option to the Phoenix defence for the 2026 season — although he’ll also tell you he’s a wide receiver if you ask him😉

We’re excited to have him on board and after a 4-1 start to the year we’re excited to see what more he offers throughout the season

Another strong outing for Coventry Phoenix yesterday in Cardiff as we picked up two more wins in the National Leagues, moving our season record to 4-1.

The squad came out firing in Game 1 with a 41-20 victory over Northants Titans before backing it up with another solid performance in Game 2, beating Bucks Wolves 33-19.

Two hard-earned wins and another big day for the Phoenix as the squad keeps putting together strong performances this season. 🔥

The Phoenix are in Cardiff today for the second gameday of the 2026 BAFA Flag season.

After a positive opening gameday, the squad is back in action looking to put in another strong performance and keep the season moving forward.

The BAFA Flag Premiership season is underway.

Three games in the heat and a solid opening day for the squad — two wins on the board and a good test across all matchups. Plenty of positives, with things to keep building on heading into the next gameday.

❄️🔥Back-to-Back at FlagnaCarta 🔥❄️ 🏆

Another brilliant day at FlagnaCarta hosted by — competitive games, good spirit, and a great way to start the year. Plenty of tight contests and a strong atmosphere from start to finish.

We found our rhythm as the day went on and worked through some tough matchups to reach the final.

And what a final it was. Close throughout, neither side giving much away. 20–20 at full time before the Phoenix edged it in a shootout. Credit to for a quality game.

Coventry Phoenix head to FlagnaCarta in Lincoln as the defending champions after lifting the trophy in 2025.

A few players will be making their Phoenix debut alongside those who were part of last year’s run, as Phoenix take the field once again in their first tournament of 2026!
