The Batavieren Race is coming up and we’re looking for people to join the team.

Be part of the most fun relay race of the year, followed by the biggest student party in the Netherlands!

Run between 3 and 6 km through the countryside between Nijmegen and Enschede 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

You don’t need any running experience because with this race taking part is what counts the most.

Trainings will be twice a month to prepare ourselves for the Batavieren!

Van maandag 29 augustus tot en met zaterdag 3 september vieren we met HI The Hague de start van het nieuwe studiejaar op hotspots in de stad! Fietsen, hamburgers eten, varen, een kroegentocht, sporten en feesten. Op enkele van de vele hotspots in de stad zoals in het centrum, op het water, bij de sociëteiten, nachtclubs, sportclubs en natuurlijk op het strand. Bekijk het programma van 29 augustus tot en met 3 september op www.hithehague.nl! Alle events staan ook in de studentenapp Studar (ook voor en door studenten).

From Monday 29 August to Saturday 3 September we will celebrate the start of the new academic year with HI The Hague at hotspots in the city! Biking, eating burgers, boating, a pub crawl, sports and parties. At some of the many hotspots in the city such as in the center, on the water, at the societies, nightclubs, sports clubs and of course on the beach. Op vrijdag 2 september vindt de jaarlijks terugkerende Haagse studenten sportdag plaats! Gedurende deze dag zullen verschillende Haagse studentenverenigingen workshops en clinics organiseren op Hockeyclub Klein Zwitserland. Samen met een groepje medestudenten neem je deel aan de verschillende open trainingen en strijd je om de titel “Haagse studentensportteam 2022”. Uiteraard sluiten we aan het eind van de dag af met een feestelijke en sportieve borrel. Kortom, dé ideale dag om kennis te maken met de verschillende studentensportverenigingen in de stad en erachter te komen welke sport het best bij jou past.. On Friday, September 2, the annual Student Sports day will take place! During this day various student associations from The Hague will organize workshops and clinics at Hockeyclub Klein Zwitserland. Together with a group of fellow students you will take part in various open training sessions and compete for the title “The Hague student sports team 2022”. Lijkt het jou leuk om je in te zetten voor studentensport in studentenstad Den Haag? Misschien is een bestuursjaar bij de Haagse studentensportraad dan wel iets voor jou! Als bestuurslid organiseer je sportevenementen voor studenten uit de hele stad, onderhoud je contact met alle (studenten)sportverenigingen en vertegenwoordig je alle sportende studenten. Kortom, je bent het gezicht van studentensport in Den Haag! Meer weten of solliciteren? Stuur zo snel mogelijk, maar uiterlijk 1 juli een mailtje naar [email protected]. Voeg bij je sollicitatie ook je CV en een korte motivatie waarin je aangeeft welke functie jou het meest aanspreekt.

Are you interested in sports and would you like to promote sports amongst all students in town? If the answer is yes, perhaps a board-year with the Student Sportsboard The Hague is something for you! As a board member you will organize sportsevents for students from The Hague, maintain relations with all student sports associations in the city, and represent all sporting students. The Hague Lacrosse has been playing for over 15 years, and enjoying every minute of it! We have men’s (the Knights), women’s (First Ladies), and youth (the Dragons) teams and we are always excited to welcome people to the sport, whether they have never held a stick before or they are already experts! We have a great mix of Dutch and international players on all of our teams, and look forward to continuing to grow our awesome lacrosse family. Men's and women's have open practice on Wednesday at 20.00.

The Student Sports Board participated in world longest 175km esteffette run The Batavierenrace🏃🏽‍♂️

We ran friday night 29th of April till 30th of April and around 17:00 o'clock we finished.

It was heavy but amazing to experience what an motivated team can do in such a big event!
