After a 5-point deduction in Round 3 we recovered really well in the next Round. But the happy faces only lasted until landing, when one of our members experienced a hard landing.

BAD LUCK FOR GERMANY'S AIRBUS 8-WAY: The last NSL News update from the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 on Saturday covered the 8-way competition after Round 2. The efforts of the German 8-way team Airbus Oceanside Illertissen to defend Germany's bronze medal position in the world was the main topic. The story mentioned that Airbus won the first FAI medals for Germany at a world championship since 1985 when they placed 3rd at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022. Operation Adler defended the FAI bronze medals successfully at Crystal Coast 2024, and Airbus came to Skydive Teuge to do the same this year at the outdoor world cup. The situation after Round 2 on Saturday was promising for the German 8-way team, who were only one point behind U.S. team Mandatory Fun! with player-coach Craig Girard.
