TVS’90 - Triathlon Vereniging Spijkenisse from The Netherlands heads to the Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg with over 85 people.
This weekend, Remich turns orange. With a record delegation of over 85 people, entourage, and supporters, TVS’90 has traveled to the Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg. Being the number 1 biggest TriClub.
Approximately 45 triathletes will appear at the start of this spectacular race on Sunday.
The Ironman 70.3, the half triathlon distance,
consists of a 1.9-kilometer swim, a 90-kilometer bike ride, and a 21.1-kilometer half marathon. But this edition is extra special: one race, three countries. The athletes swim in the Moselle River in Germany, cycle through the beautiful w**e hills, rock formations, and picturesque villages of Luxembourg and France, to finally finish in atmospheric Remich in Luxembourg.
For TVS’90, it has become a familiar group destination, but the association has never traveled with such a large group before. In addition to the athletes, dozens of family members, friends, and clubmates create a fantastic, orange atmosphere along the course. It is precisely this combination of competing together, cheering each other on, and experiencing it as a club that makes this weekend special every time.
On Sunday, the athletes will take on the challenge, hoping for great performances, personal records, and above all, an unforgettable finish.
