Not the Europeans I hoped or trained for, but every race is a chance to learn. Back to the drawing board, figuring out what needs more work and coming back stronger.

Grateful for the lessons, and especially for the fun few weeks with TeamNL 🤍🧡

Happy to announce that I’ve qualified for the 50m freestyle at the European Championships in Paris next month 🇪🇺🤩

And… a little PB moment too 🚨✨. Happy to see the hard work pay off.

Unfortunately, I just came up short in the 100m freestyle. I would have loved to also represent the team in the relays!

I feel like there’s much more left in the tank, and I’m ready to perform at my full potential. There’s a lot more to come 🤝🏻🧡

WE BUILD.

People see the races, the medals, the moments on TV. They don't see the thousands of mornings that started before sunrise, the sessions nobody applauded, or the sacrifices made when nobody was watching.

Being an Olympian was never the finish line. It was proof that showing up, day after day, even when it's hard, even when nobody believes in you, is worth it.

The work doesn't stop because you reached one dream. You chase the next one with the same hunger, the same discipline, and the same belief.

Stay quiet. Stay consistent. Let your results introduce you.

LeBron said it best..

Your body is capable of so much more than your mind will initially let you believe. Sometimes the biggest battle isn’t physical, it’s convincing yourself to take one more step, one more rep, one more lap. ✨

People who say “just stop training if you’re in pain” often don’t understand what’s behind it.

Years of work. Thousands of hours. A dream you’re not ready to let go of.

Pain isn’t always a stop sign. Sometimes it’s a signal to adjust, recover and find another path forward. More sleep, working around the problem, giving your body space to recover whilst continueing working towards the goal.

Because after dedicating so much of your life to a goal…

Simply quitting was never an option.
