With a journey shaped between Portugal, London, Brazil and various countries across West Africa, her path has been marked by a continuous commitment to deepening her understanding of the foundations, values and principles of Capoeira Angola. Her work recognizes the importance of maintaining its connection to African roots, collective memory, identity, and the histories of resistance of Black communities.✨

Ana Paz will also be joining us!! She is a spoken word and movement artist who draws on her diasporic heritage to create work that blends movement, poetry, rhythm, and ancestral storytelling. Influenced by hip hop and the vibrant London music scene, she integrates her background in capoeira and cultural studies. Her creative and academic work focuses on transmitting ancestral and embodied knowledge from the African diaspora. Through her art and the Unspoken Podcast, she fosters spaces for dialogue, reflection, and collective empowerment.✨
