CONIA, the Confederation of Independent Athletics, is the global athletics association for all under- or unrepresented athletics federations.

CONIA, the Confederation of Independent Athletics, is the global athletics association for all under- or unrepresented athletics federations outside the IAAF. The CONIA Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded and registrered in The Netherlands. CONIA’s has three main activities:
- the organisation of the quadrennial CONIA World Unity Athletics Games, in which athletes from member nations,

territories and peoples compete in the usual international athletics disciplines;
- organising the CONIA Continental Unity Athletics Games (in collaboration with continental confederations) every two years;
- supporting nations, communities and peoples in organising and developing sports participation and performance. CONIA’s MISSION is to facilitate non-nation state communities’ participating and excelling in competitive sports. CONIA’s VISION is a world in which athletes representing non-nation states and their communities can thrive and optimise their sporting careers free of bias, racism and discrimination.
