Hey everyone! It's Sem here, the Chairman of the 32nd Board of Ragnar. We're happy to announce that we will be restarting our triathlon activities in collaboration with Roadrunners and Alcedo! We will be participating in a sprint triathlon (750m-21k-5k) in Amsterdam on the 19th of June. In a collaborative effort, we will also be organising special practices and clinics in preparation for this race :)

Hi All!

The winter season is well upon us now and the weather has taken a turn. With a keen eye on the regulations, we hope the coming year provides more opportunities for organised training.

The advice from the Dutch government's advice for cycling has remained constant this academic year and suggested all sports that are doable individually should be performed in solo or duos. Because of this, it has been and still would be irresponsible to organise group rides. Swim training, however, is still allowed and offered by Ragnar Rotterdam. If you miss the water and verbal encouragement from the sidelines go find them!

Hopefully, as the weather improves in 2021 we will be able to meet many of you and organise group rides and training workshops! We are looking forward to doing so and hope everyone is staying safe and keeping fit!

Dear Triathletes,

It's great to hear a growing interest in triathlon at our university! Although this summer has been different to usual, we hope you have found the place and time to keep up your fitness and training. Luckily TriSport is here to help you with that as soon as we can!

In this strange time, rest assured we are trying our best to decipher what training we are able to offer and how we can go ahead with these safely. As we are a small association this is trickier than we would hope; with the regulation shifting as things develop, we have everyone's safety as a top priority and will make decisions accordingly.

Keep training and following this page as we try our best to get some form of training underway in any shape possible.

We hope to see as many of you soon!

Dear Triathletes,

First of all, we hope you are all doing well and finding other ways of keeping fit at the moment!

Secondly, we want to approach the second year of TriSport. After having prepared a training regime we planned to offer you all this spring, we have to postpone this until more is known about the duration of the social distancing measures throughout the Netherlands. As both Ragnar and the Roadrunners are postponing all training until at least the end of April we will be following their plan.

Below you can see the practices and packages we intended to offer throughout April, May and June and if possible we will still offer as much of the training as we can! We will keep you updated on any further developments as we all need something to look forward to when this is over.

Cycling Package: 2 cycle training sessions + 2 transition training sessions
Indoor Swim Package: 4 indoor sessions to prepare you for the great outdoors
Outdoor Swim Package: 4 outdoor sessions
Every package includes weekly run training with EUR Roadrunners and weekly group bike rides

Interested in triathlon? Already an expert or maybe just starting? TriSport Erasmus aims to bring together any triathletes to train as a community here in Rotterdam.

Join our community where you can meet other like-minded people. In the spring we will start organised training sessions to improve your skills in all three disciplines of triathlon. These will include targeted transition training and outdoor cycle practices. The aim of the training -like last year- will be a triathlon we will take part in together.

Yesterday we reached the end of our 10 week training program and competed in the goal of it all, the triathlon! Everyone performed amazingly and Jurriaan even fought his way to become first overall.
This would of course not have been possible without some great swim training by 010 Sports and triathlon preperation by Opdíefiets!

This week our daring swimmers tried their luck at the first outdoor swim training with 010 Sports. Although the water was cold, we couldn't have asked for a better evening!

With just over 3 weeks to go before the triathlon our triathletes get a taste of the transitions with some training by Opdíefiets! Trickier than some of us thought!
