As the chair, you are the face of the association and the captain of our board! You are responsible for leading the board meetings and you ensure that your fellow board members can execute their tasks smoothly 📝. You keep the ultimate overview of everything happening within the club, guard our long-term vision, and act as a confidant for our members. Together with Erasmus Sport, you also represent our association to the outside world.
All of these activities will on average take between 3-5 hours each week, leaving enough free room for your studies and personal life!
Taking initiative is very important in this role. You have a lot of options for what you can do during your board your, and your input will often be the deciding factor in which of the options your board will pursue! 🔥
The experience of being the chair is highly rewarding. You learn a lot about leadership, strategic thinking, and public speaking. You work closely with your entire board, making you the central, indispensable pillar of the team. Do you have any questions about this amazing position?
