🇪🇺🏁 FIA Karting Academy Trophy – Round 1 Recap
Coming into the first round, confidence was high… but unfortunately too much bad luck turned the weekend into a disappointing result on paper.
I’m never someone who looks for excuses, but sometimes it feels like everything possible gets thrown at you at once, and this race weekend was one of those moments.
Several crashes left me with bruised ribs, and the search for pure one-lap pace was extremely difficult because of the minimum weight situation, making a strong starting position almost impossible.
However, the heats told a completely different story. The race pace was strong, with great overtakes and big gains in positions throughout the weekend 💪🔥
Sadly, incidents and technical issues affected the final results, but I’m proud that we kept fighting until the very end and grateful to have raced the final at such an amazing event.
I’m taking all the experience and positives from this weekend with me, and leaving the bad luck behind, to come back stronger for Round 2 in Sarno 🇮🇹🔥
