Happy New year from ✨ Special day for me, as its not only the start of a new year, its also day number 2500 ever since I started this crazy journey and left the Netherlands to travel the 🌍 Back in 2013. I did come back many times, and so will I even more in 2019 as we will be spending a lot of time in my home town Purmerend. Starting February 16th ❄️ Brrr! A new adventure, an adventure in my home town. 🚌 I better enjoy this lovely warm weather while I can 🏝️ Happy New year everyone! ✨

Three years ago I celebrated New Years in Brazil, this year I do it again. Same country, different city but a lot of the same people as three, two and one year ago. Guess it became a ritual. Where are you celebrating New Years this time?

Those two ladies I met three years ago. Ever since we became good friends, see each other a few times a year and have multiple chat or phone conversations a month. This are by far the two girls in my life with the purest heart. Such amazing human beings. I'm very happy I met them and I was able to spend time with them again those last weeks. See you girls soon again 😘

So sad Christmas is over again. Christmas was great again with all those I had around me. I feel blessed by the people I got to know over the last weeks. Some inspiring human beings who I love to see again in 2019 and onwards 🤗 Almost leaving Northern Brazil for Rio, some more celebration time with incredible people we're sharing our apartment with.

A great way to get kite control. Sitting in a shallow lagoon and teach them to have the prefect lie control before they take the next step of body dragging. This lagoon cost to Guajiru is such a great place to teach 😍
