FROM -8 runs defeat TO +8 runs victory 🩵💛💚🏏🔥

Same ground. Similar battle. Different ending.

A world of character behind the turnaround.

Scoreboards record runs and wickets. They don’t always record everything a team had to overcome to earn them.

Asked to bat first in challenging conditions, the boys responded with character. The top order laid the foundation, and the middle order once again stepped up with a crucial 50-run partnership — for the third consecutive game.
Then came a brilliant innings from Suresh Kumar — 87 off 66 balls* (MoM) — carrying us to a competitive 215/9 from 35 overs.

With the conditions improving for batting, we knew defending 215 wouldn’t be straightforward. Concordia started strongly, racing to 65 without loss and putting us firmly under pressure.

Ashwin broke the opening partnership, opening the door for us. From there, the bowlers kept chipping away. Wickets started coming, the pressure kept building, and slowly the game began to turn.

As the contest moved towards its decisive moments, Vikas , Ashwin and Senthil held their nerve at the death, taking the game all the way to the final over.

8 runs to defend.

1 over.
Everything on the line.

And then came a finish we won’t forget.

Senthil stepped up and struck with the first three balls of the final over , three consecutive wickets.

It was an intense contest with the battle going beyond just runs and wickets. In those moments, a team has a choice get caught up in the noise, or stay together, trust its cricket and let its actions do the talking.

We chose the latter ❤️😎

The battle is ON, but the mission is accomplished 💛🩵💚

Another strong team performance from Wanderers ZA 2 as we chased down 115.

⭐ Vikas — outstanding five-wicket haul (5/21)
🔥 Aswin & Ponraj — excellent bowling performances ( 2 wickets each ) and crucial support
🏏 Mayur — composed and important 49* with the bat to ensure we chase down on time

We’ve now played and beaten all 9 teams in our group. That achievement says a lot, but what defines this team is something bigger.

It’s how you respond after every setback that makes the difference between a good team and a great team.

This group keeps showing why they are at the top — competing hard, backing each other, and still staying grounded.

One of the best compliments we continue to hear from our opponents is: “You guys are a great team.”

That means more than just results. Success is measured in wins, but greatness also comes from the respect you earn through the way you approach and play the game

🏏 A clinical victory. A complete team performance. The jinx is broken in style 🩵💛💚

Wanderers 1 finally broke the jinx with a convincing 80-run victory over Salland 3. A much-needed result built on a complete team performance.

Batting first, Wanderers put together an imposing 232 ( Highest score for this season ) D. Tharindu Wickramage led from the front with an excellent 72 off 74 balls, while Ajay Sundaresan provided valuable support with a composed 52 off 72. Two Ashwin’s contributions down the order helping Wanderers post a strong total.

With 232 to defend, the bowlers took control Aswin Kumar MAK produced an excellent spell of 3/25 from 6 overs, while Senthil Kumar Kannan was extremely economical, taking 2/8 from 5 overs. Bouke Jansen (1/16) also played their part as Salland were bowled out for 152 in 32.4 overs.

More than the individual performances, this victory was about the collective effort. Runs at important moments, disciplined bowling, wickets shared around and the energy to finish the job exactly the kind of performance the team needed.

After a challenging few weeks, it feels good to see Wanderers 1 back on track. 👊

After last week’s narrow defeat, we couldn’t have asked for a better response. A clinical team performance against our brotherhood club cricket_club_arnhem disciplined with the ball, composed with the bat, and a convincing win to get us back on track. 💪

A complete team performance and a statement victory!

After being put into bat, Wanderers ZA 2 posted our highest team total of the OSS season, scoring 264 runs. The innings was built around a magnificent 100-run partnership between Vikas Gupta and Lenin, whose composure and positive intent laid the perfect foundation. The middle order then carried the momentum forward to ensure we finished with a commanding total.

Defending 264, our pace attack, led brilliantly by Vikas Pathak and Rajkumar never allowed the opposition to settle. Disciplined lines, relentless pressure, and aggressive intent saw Hilversum ZA 1 bowled out for 151, sealing a convincing 113-run victory.

This victory was about much more than the scoreboard. It was about trust, belief, and everyone playing their role. Every partnership mattered. Every spell counted. Every player contributed.

Congratulations to the entire squad on an outstanding team performance. Let’s enjoy this win, stay humble, and continue raising the standard.
