A little while ago we had a small edition of our Singlestick Charity tournament.

Mart vd Burg won and donated the €450,- we raised to the Dierenambulance en Vogelasiel Regio Leiden.

Last weekend at the NHK - Nederlandse HEMA Kampioenschappen (Dutch HEMA championships) organized by the HEMA-bond Nederland, the HVN got both gold and silver!

Mart van den Burg and Henric Jansen fought an exciting final!

First round: win for Henric
Second round: tie
Third round: win for Mart
Extra round: goes into sudden death

Mart won the last exchange which won him the gold while silver went to Henric.

Ties Kool wrote a new article on Performance Profiling. A great tool for fencers (and their coaches) to set meaningful goals, build a focused training plan, and take your fencing to the next level.

At this years Swiss HEMA Camp he did a presentation about sport science and sport psychology. At the end of it they went through the steps of the Performance Profiling. The Feedback was great!

The news everyone has been waiting for: registrations for DLC will open on Saturday May 31st! So block your calendars and be the first to climb the lion’s rock.

How will it work?
On May 31st at 3PM CEST (GMT+2) registrations will open up on our website.
Whether you want to fight, volunteer* or do workshops, fill out the registration form and select your desired tickets! Are tournament places sold out? Simply select the waitlist option and hope for the best.
You pay directly on the website through PayPal or iDeal.
