Dopamine fast? Skip Social media!

🧠 You probably know that excessive use of social media can seriously impact your brain. Prolonged exposure to screens can lead to fatigue, stress, and even reduced focus. Neuro research showed that if you only would skip social media, it would have a big effect on your brain ▶️swipe to see the result!

So why do we do it? 🤦🏽‍♀️
It’s easy (even addictive) to get caught up in the endless stream of updates, posts, and likes. Before you know it, you’ve spent hours scrolling through feeds instead of focusing on more productive tasks.

Want to use less social media? Ever noticed your brain doesn’t understand the word ‘less’ or ‘not’? Try this - think NOT about a pink elephant 🐘💖. What did you think about? Exactly!

The point is, that your brain is brilliant at focusing on what you want. So give it something positive to focus on! 🎯 Set your goals on what you wánt to achieve, instead of what you want to avoid. So, instead of saying ‘No social media’, you could focus what you want to do in that time:

➡️ ‘Focus on my todo’s
➡️ ‘Really connect with my friends’
➡️ ‘End that book’
➡️ ‘See my surrounding in nature’
➡️ ‘Have a clearer mind’
