Enormously proud of our fellow Aussie teams at the Youth Worlds in Auckland! Tash and Annie sailed an incredible regatta to take out the GOLD with a race to spare, while John and Simon took out Bronze. Stoked for both teams!!

Wow what an incredible experience we have had competing in the 29er World Championships in Medemblik. To top it off, we won the female division and came 9th overall in a record fleet of 228 boats!! We are absolutely stoked and would like to thank the amazing support network we have at home and around the world. We couldn't have done it without you guys! In particular we would like to thank our coach Belinda Stowell and the WAIS Support staff for bringing our training to the next level, to our parents for making it possible for us to pursue our goals and participate in events like these. We would like to thank Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, South of Perth Yacht Club and Fremantle Sailing Club, for their incredible support and all of the people who have been involved in our sailing from the beginning. A huge congratulations is in order for the overall winners of the regatta, our team mates, Tom Crockett and Harry Morton and to the rest of the team who showed outstanding performances and made the event a fun and memorable one. Thank you also Larry Cargill for coaching us through the regatta.

Queensland Youth Week finished yesterday and we were stoked to take home the win. The regatta consisted of four very light wind days and seven races. Unfortunately it was not enough to qualify for the 2016 Youth Worlds but we put up a fight. We would like to congratulate Annie and Natasha, John and Simon on qualifying for the Youth Worlds and wish them all the best for New Zealand. We would also like to thank the WAIS support staff at home, our coach Belinda Stowell, our parents, Royal Freshwater Bay, South of Perth and Fremantle Sailing Club for helping us achieve this result. We are home for a week of training before heading to The Netherlands for the 29er World Championships. We'll keep you posted!

We were very fortunate to participate in the 2016 Singapore National Championships last week. Despite being a famously light wind venue, Singapore provided good wind ranging from 3-22 knots to complete nine races. We won the regatta with fresh competition from the well practiced light wind Singaporeans. We would like to thank Belinda for supporting us to get to the event and Ben Walkemeyer for coaching us over the week. We'd also like to thank the Singapore National Sailing Centre and all the locals for making us feel so welcome!

It was an absolute honour to be nominated for Female and Youth sailors of the year at the YWA Awards night.
Thank you everyone for your support, we're training and studying hard at the moment in the lead up to our next big event. Stay tuned!

Thoroughly enjoyed the Mandurah Easter Regatta. Was great to sail in such a wide range of conditions over the weekend with the longer races testing our stamina. We came away with a win and knowledge of where we can continue to improve. Thank you to Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club for hosting a great regatta.

We really enjoyed the recent state championships hosted by Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. We are also stoked in finding out we have been accepted into the Western Australian Institute of Sport! It has been an exciting month and we are looking forward to the exciting months ahead.

Had an awesome regatta at the Royal Perth Mini Series this year! Achieved first place. Was great to have three female teams in the top four!
