Welcome to the official UM Cheerleading page! Currently, there are two team who compete in different competitions.

The Maastricht University Cheerleading team was established in 2012 as a UM School of Business and Economics student team. Since then, we have developed into an enthusiastic, full-fledged cheerleading team participating annually in various competitions, comprised of students from various faculties of Maastricht University and Hogeschool Zuyd. Our Smoed team does university competitions and some ot

her 'real' cheerleading competitions. The Coed team competes at national and international competitions such as Dutch Nationals, Europeans and Elite Cheerleading Championships.

Join us at the Maastricht University Cheerleading Showcase and see what the teams have been working on this year. You’ll also have the chance to try cheerleading yourself at the end of the event!

We’re looking for coaches to coach our University Maastricht cheer teams! 📣

The open positions are :
• Level 4 Varsity
• Level 3/4 ICU
• Level 2/3 ICU
We’re looking for both a main coach and assistant coach.

You should have cheerleading experience and be able to coach in English, as our teams consist of many internationals!
Our teams are made up of university students who love cheerleading - some are beginners and others already have experience within the sport.
