The Ibis Ripmo was updated for 2020, and the second version is most definitely an improvement on the original.
Key changes:…1 A degree slacker head tube angle…2 A longer wheelbase…3 Progressive suspension curve

Result:…The result is an even more well-rounded ride with enhanced composure on descents and improved stability at speed. Ibis Ripmo V2 XT 2020. The Ripmo SMASHES downhill speed and seams to have no terrain limits. However it can also climb like a bike with less travel and tackles technical terrain with the best of them. And compared to the quality of build with regards to price range the Ripmo is best in class.

Is with out question a spot on well-rounded mid-travel trail bike…running on a 27.5-inch wheels and 130mm of rear-wheel travel. The overall set up makes for a truly versatile descender that can spit up and chew anything that comes down the trail. With excellent mid-stroke support… enabled by the VPP suspension design with the low-mount shock orientation make it a force to be reckoned with.
