Movers! We hope you are well on your way with with your personal goals for this year. Now that we can finally live a 'normal' social life again it is time to fully enjoy time with friends, family and loved ones.

As I can understand, times like these can also challenge you to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Do you feel happy and healthy? Can you keep focussing on your goal, or does all that is happening in the word distract you from your most important focus point; your health? Staying focussed takes effort but is worth it 100%.

I help people from all over the country to set goals, find grip and focus. Focus backed up by actions make your practise perfect. Two key aspects are consitency an commitment. The current covid situation asks us to put many of our daily activities on hold again. Even though we may have many insecurities or frustration regarding the restrictions, I keep focussing on positive change and growth.

In these challenging period I am happy to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Instead of decreasing, I want to help you increase in strength and vitality. I am convinced that physical movement lies at the base of a healthy and happy life. That is why I want to offer people a chance to use these 4 weeks during lockdown as positively as we can. Are you in?

Instead of the regular fee of €240,- for 4 sessions, you now only pay €200,- from me as a present.

We train in the Diemerpark or Theo Van Gogh Park on IJburg. All sessions are 60 minutes.

With my personalised training sessions I aim to keep you fit and motivated during the coming 4 weeks.
It is important for me to keep us all healthy and moving, so take this chance and let's get to work!

Deze tijden vragen ons opnieuw om veel van onze dagelijkse activiteiten een halt toe te roepen. Desondanks de onzekerheden en frustraties die de corona maatregelen met zich mee brengen, blijf ik mij inzetten voor positieve verandering en groei.

Ik help jou graag om deze uitdagende tijd te gebruiken, om in plaats van te verzwakken te versterken! Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat lichamelijke beweging de basis vormt van een gelukkig en gezond leven. Daarom wil ik mensen de kans geven om deze 4 weken, tijdens de lockdown gezond te benutten en positief in te zetten. Doe je met mij mee?

In plaats van het reguliere tarief van 240,- betaal je nu voor 4 sessies 200,- van mij als cadeau.

Wij trainen in het Diemerpark of het Theo van Gogh Park op IJburg en alle 4 sessies duren 60 minuten.

Met mijn doelgerichte en persoonlijke training sessies streef ik er naar om jou fit en gemotiveerd te houden gedurende deze 4 weken.

Since it can be challenging to find a suitable workout routine that keeps challenging you as well as adapting to your changing needs, Matthew Moves now offers personalised monthly workout routines for individuals to do at home, at the gym or park. Getting an effective training routine with accurate demonstration has never been this easy.

We start with an online intake to discuss any particularities. From there on I start creating your workout schedule. Once the routine is ready, I’ll send it to you with a virtual recording of me explaining the exercises, including helpful tips and tricks to get the most out of your workout! If you need any extra guidance along the way we can book a 1 on 1 at any time.

My new collaboration with Basic-Fit!

Recently I took on a presenter position for the stretching program of the GXR online group class platform. We recorded several stretching tracks in the studio which will be visible in all clubs and in the app. It was a special experience and I'm already excited for the next recordings in November!

Stretching is an important and sometimes underrated aspect of daily life. It can help release physical, mental and emotional stress. I always end each training with a good stretch and I highly recommend stretching every day. Wether it's at home, in the kitchen or in the office: keep it stretchy!

A little sneak peek of what a personal training at Matthew Moves looks like. Not only do we work hard towards your goals, but we also have fun like Karlotta and I during this exercise!

✅ Training outside is a great way to 1. enjoy fresh air and 2. move! We do a full body training combined with HIIT, cardio and strength training. We use dumbbells, resistance bands, the TRX, an ab wheel and body weighted exercises to work towards your goals on a weekly basis.

✅ Home workout routines and nutrition advice is all part of the personal training programs at Matthew Moves. With my personalized coaching strategy, personal training sessions and flexible agenda I aim to help my clients in the best way possible.

I truly love doing what I do every day!

Goedendag vrienden! In deze video neem ik jullie mee door een aantal goede oefeningen die je kunt doen met de TRX 💪

De TRX (total body resistance exersice) zijn gemakkelijk mee te nemen en te gebruiken voor vrijwel alle spiergroepen; super efficient dus! Maar wat kan je er nou echt allemaal mee?

Ik doe alle oefeningen een paar herhaling voor. Zorg ervoor dat je ze zelf 12-20 herhaling doet. Maak vooral lekker je eigen variaties en let's go!

Wil je graag een keer trainen met de TRX onder begeleiding? Dat kan! Contact mij dan voor een proeftraining. Ik laat je graag in persoon zien hoe de TRX werkt en at je er allemaal mee kan!

This past year, Michiel lost over 44 pounds (20kg) and Is now ready to build up more strength, muscles and work on his overall condition. I am inspired by his transformation and even more excited for the upcoming months of hard work 💪 Michiel also has a friendly dog who likes to see his owner sweat!

Powerful Morning Routine. Kickstart your day!

1. Wake up (no phone)
2. Stretch & Hydrate
3. Shower & Brush teeth
4. Read, Write & Day-planning
5. Coffee/Breakfast

Besides the benefits of each habit, this process is a powerful way to implement the change you want to see in your life.

- Waking up without phone works really well in starting off your day sharp and focussed. Stretching helps to get blood flowing to your muscles and brain; Body & Mind!

- Reading an interesting article, writing your day planning and journaling are all true creativity and inspiration boosters. These practical tools help to gain focus and give direction to your day.

And then, time for coffee!

- While getting new creative thoughts and inspiration from reading and writing you can enjoy a cup of fresh coffee or tea to complete your routine.

Of course your own routine may look slightly different. Perhaps you'd like to wake up with a shower or stretch after reading. I encourage you give your personal morning routine your own twist and find what works, and what doesn't.

Remember that in order to build new and strong habits that give your day to day life a fresh direction, you have to OWN them. Practise is KEY!
