For the 2026 season, The Amsterdam Throwdown has been selected to award a direct qualification spot to the WFP Finals.

That means the winning Team of 4 at The Amsterdam Throwdown will earn a place on one of the biggest stages in the sport: the World Fitness Project Finals.

This is more than winning in Amsterdam.

On June 14, the women take the floor for the AMS Throwdown Qualifier Live Announcement.

Representing Team ESN is one of the most recognizable names in European CrossFit, Noortje Bleeker 🇳🇱.

Standing across from her is Kirsten Lootens 🇧🇪, one of Belgium’s top CrossFit athletes and a familiar face on some of Europe’s biggest competition floors.

Completing the lineup is Ava Zalman 🇳🇱, a rising talent in Dutch CrossFit and a key member of the Vondel x ZEUZ team, where she regularly competes at the highest level in the Team of 4 division.

The road to Amsterdam never goes exactly as planned.

With the Online Semifinals around the corner, Sven Geens has made the decision to put everything on the line in his pursuit of a CrossFit Games qualification. As a result, he will no longer be competing in our Live Announcement on June 14.

And honestly? We completely get it.

When a Games spot is within reach, there is only one thing that matters. Sven, we’re behind you all the way and wish you the very best of luck. Go get it. 👊

But the show goes on.

Stepping onto the competition floor in Hoofddorp is a man who needs little introduction.

For years, Richard Hill 🇬🇧 has been one of the most respected names in European CrossFit. A true veteran of the sport. Tested on the biggest stages. Respected by athletes across generations.

Now he’ll face two of the brightest rising stars in Dutch CrossFit.
