NZ KiwiBlacks Inline Hockey Team

The NZ Kiwiblacks were first assembled as a selected team to compete at the Oceania Championships in New Zealand in 2025.

The team went on to claim GOLD in the U11 division. In 2026, they will compete in the U13 division at STATEWARS in Indiana, USA.

Day One at State Wars saw the team presented with their New Zealand team jerseys before heading to PSM Icehouse for our first game against Colombia.

Game one saw the squad finish the first half down two Goals … A gritty comeback saw our KiwiBlacks fight back and end the game in a 4-4 draw.

Our hero’s then took center stage with our very own Ming Macarthy taking home the accuracy shooting with a 4/6 performance.

A calm afternoon of rest and regrouping saw the team prepared to take on Pennsylvania. The preparation did us great as we rolled to a 4-0 suffocation victory to end the day with a 1-0-1 record heading into Day Two.

Another Solid training day Creek Roller Hockey Rink
with the Squad as we prepare for the “Wars” in front of us.

Great way to end the Night with some late night ball hockey at an outdoor Hockey Rink that was donated to the community by the Chicago Blackhawks.

We all came home winners with a very cool experience for the memory banks.

Off Day Tommorrow before we Close Camp with our last training on Monday morning and hit the Road to STATEWARS !!!!
