Coming to Curacao? Definitely take a visite at BAMBAM, a performance technology and interactive entertainment sports facility, located at . It’s a great spot to experience and practice sports, mainly baseball.

We met Hensley ‘Bam-Bam’ Meulens, founder of and former professional baseball player and coach from Curaçao 🇨🇼 . Hensley had an impressive baseball career, starting at the New York Yankees in 1989.
Later he pursued his career as a coach for the San Francisco Giants and New York Metz. He won the World Series three times as a coach.

Kenley Jansen is one of the best pitchers in the MLB history. Being born on the island of Curaçao, Kenley currently is playing at the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2020 the LA Dodgers won the World Series baseball.

While I was in Curaçao, I unexpectedly received a personal message from Kenley to ask whether I had the time to head over to his house to deliver him the personalized Calor Bag. Arriving there, I expected to get a bit time to hand him over the bag and hopefully get the chance to take some pictures. But instead he invited me to come in for something to eat and drink with his family and friends. I want to thank Kenley and his wife Gianni for being so friendly and generous and for sharing the Calor Bag videos and pictures.

It was awesome to hear from Kenley that the Calor bag could be very handy during the colder days to keep his feet and legs muscle warm during the matches.

Up to a new succesful season, I wish you all the best.

Hoe kostbaar zijn de benen van Messi? Ondanks dat hij vast niet vaak zal plaatsnemen op de bank, houdt Calor Sport zijn beenspieren graag op temperatuur in de dug-out, mocht dat toch het geval zijn. Gelukkig beschikt PSG al jaren over de Calor Bags. Gefeliciteerd Saint Germain met jullie nieuwe aankoop. Op naar een mooi voetbalseizoen ⚽️🇫🇷🔴🔵

Also enjoyed the Champions League matches last week? FC Barcelona - Paris Saint Germain was the highlight as far as we are concerned. What a match. And what a result! 1️⃣-4️⃣

In 2016, PSG was one of our first customers. We were allowed to provide the substitute players with extra warmth and comfort in de dug-out 🔥🤩⚽️

Het ondernemerschap heeft mij al op veel verrassende plekken gebracht. Maar de ontmoeting met Giselle Mc William, Minister van Economische Ontwikkeling van Curaçao in Den Haag gisteren was voor mij extra speciaal. Ondanks dat ik ben opgegroeid in Nederland, ben ik geboren op Curaçao en wonen een aantal familieleden daar. Een deel van mijn roots dus.

De Minister was in Nederland in verband met de langdurige samenwerking met AFC Ajax die afgelopen week is afgesloten. Zij nodigde ons uit om kennis te maken en was benieuwd naar het verhaal van Calor Sport. We hebben met haar gesproken over hoe het idee is ontstaan en waarom de grootste clubs van Europa, waaronder Ajax, inmiddels gebruik maken van deze producten om de benen en voeten van hun spelers te beschermen tegen de kou.

Wij kijken terug op een mooie dag en danken mevrouw McWilliam voor haar tijd en aandacht. En we zijn blij dat we haar gedurende het gesprek wat warmte hebben kunnen bieden met de Calor Fan Bag. De Nederlandse temperaturen zijn toch wat anders dan die op Curaçao.

Entrepreneurship has already brought me to many surprising places. But yesterday's meeting with Giselle Mc William, Curaçao's Minister of Economic Development in The Hague was extra special for me. Although I grew up in the Netherlands, I was born in Curaçao and a number of family members live there. So Curaçao is part of my roots.

The Minister was in Holland because of the long-term cooperation with AFC Ajax, which was concluded last week. She invited us to get to meet each other and was curious about the story of Calor Sport. We spoke to her about how the idea was created and why Europe's biggest clubs, among Ajax, now use these products to keep their players' legs and feet warm and prevent injuries.

We look back on a beautiful day and thank Mrs McWilliam for her time and interest in our company. And we are happy that we were able to offer her some warmth with the Calor Fan Bag during the conversation. The Dutch temperatures are somewhat different compared to the weather in Curaçao.
