Op SUP-Expeditie over Alpenmeren

De Tongerse milieuactivist-avonturier Wim Pyl maakte een opmerkelijke Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) tocht over enkele van de hoogst gelegen Alpenmeren. Dit deed hij om meer bewustwording te creëren rond het cruciale belang van zuiver water en het behoud van onze vitale waterreserves. Voor het verzamelen van de watermonsters en het sample-onderzoek werkte Wim samen met CMK en Bitelab van Universiteit Hasselt.

With the size range from 2.5m – 6.5m, you can enjoy winging any day in all conditions from 8 knots to 40+ knots

John John Vanderick on a preparation course for the Défi Wind.

At the age of 14, the young Belgian Johnjohn Vanderick already has a nice track record in windsurfing!

Winner of the Dunkerbeck Speed ​​Challenge, in its category, the last four years, BEL-50 will participate this year in 2 stages of the PWA Slalom Youth World Cup (Denmark and Turkey).

John John Vanderick will also take part in the legendary Défi Wind de Gruissan, alongside 1,500 other professional and amateur windsurfers (a record for the event).
And to properly prepare for this big meeting, the kid took part in a preparation course led by Pierre Mortefon and Marion Mortefon. Enough to stock up on good advice and confidence!
