Vries🇳🇱🏁

What a weekend !! 🤦‍♂🙁
It wasn't a good one sadley,
On saterday I did the race for the National class. In the second training I had a crash in the first corner and I can't remember anything from this, I am missing a few hours I had a lot of pain in my head and neck and the doctors told me I wasn't aloud to start again for this day, ofcourse I always want to race but I think this was the right choise because u need to be fit on the bike !! So we went to bed early and the next day I felt much better only a bit pain in the musles in my neck but I felt good enough to race so I make myself ready for the first time in the international class in nl 🤩🏁

Imani also did this race and she need to go before me on the track. this was her first time in a race with mack struck after a few laps it went wrong !!! In the corner the back wheel went up and they made a big crash this was so scary !! But luckily they both were awake and they have no big injuries but after the check at the medical team they both needed to go to the hospital to see if there were broking bones or other injuries

Ofcoure I was worried so I decided to stop the race for the day and go Whit imani to the hospital

I did 2 trainings this day and I was happy with how it went

When we were in hospital imani and mack were both in allot of pain

Mack has pain in his hand shoulder and he feel sick

Imani has pain in her back

After allot of scans x-rays test and allot waiting the doctors told imani that nothing was broken but only brushed after a few more test she can go home now but she need to rest and then wil be all good

Mack his hand is broken in 2 places, his shoulder was oké and he needs a operation for the hand but for today he can go home with a cast

I'm happy that they have no big injuries and I hope they feel better soon

Big thanks to the medical team who all do awesome jobs 🙏🏼🙏🏼 alsow thanks for all people who send messages ❤️ for me I look forward to the next race and hopefully soon I can join the international class again we stay positive

Training Roden 🏁🇳🇱

On friday we watched the race for the Roelof Thijs bokaal
It was a good race and the next day we went to Roden for training
We brought the solo bike and the sidecar for training with mack and imani but this gave me the chance to try a few laps on the sidecar aswel I liked it a lot and it felt really good

Also on the longtrack bike I felt confident and picked up some good speed

Imani learned a lot and is making big steps

On Sunday we went to icespeedway again to watch the world championship

We had an awesome weekend and we are ready for next weekend in vries

Balkbrug j&n
(4,4) finale p4

After the race in neuenknick we drove to balkbrug were we had the race on Monday

The training was allright the track was a bit hard but the feeling was good

In the first heat my start was not bad and I take the second place to try to get the first place from the inside but I missed some speed when I came out the corner so finished the first heat as second

In the next heat I was in second place again and I know this was enough to go to the A finale so just take the points finish second again

In the final I have a really bad start I tried to overtake but can not find a way around another rider so finish p4 of the day

Now we make all things ready for the next race in vries !!

Race 2/3 in the weekend
(Imani's race)
Neuenknick (3,2,1,0) place 2 🥈

At Sunday we were in neuenknick for Imani Hazekamp her first sidecar race together with ole muller

In the training the track was very wet and slick
They both looked good on the bike but we know the track will change a lot and will be more dry during the day

In the first heat they have a great start and come out the corner as first! They keep the lead and win the first heat the second heat they start at red and they do a good job finish second

Than in the last 2 heats they start from yellow and white the inside gates were a lot better so they only get 1 point out the last 2 heats this give them the points 3,2,1,0 so 6 in total and they have the same as a other combination so they need to do a runoff for second place the start was good and they were fast they win the run off and finish the day In second place 🥳🥳
I am so proud!!!

First race weekend is done
It was a buzzy but a good weekend

Race 1/3 Speedway Veenoord 🏁🇳🇱
(D,2,2,2) place 7

On saturday I had the first speedway race at Veenoord
With the training I found out the track was hard and it take a bit time and some changes at the bike before I feel good

In the first heat I didn’t have the best start and I was at p3 overtake was very hard so I wanted to take the 1 point and be a bit careful maybe this was the mistake because in the corner the bike got a lot of gripp and front wheel went up and I ended under the airfence 🫣stupid mistake from myself but lucky me and the bike were oké

In the next 3 heats I finished all as second and have 6 points out 4 heats
This mean I had 1 point to less for the final 🙁

Better luck next time after the race at night we drove to Germany, neuenknick for the sidecar race for imani🏁

We spent the weekend In mulmshorn for a speedway/longtrack training and to see if the new colours look good !! And it did ! Im very happy with the new suits and covers 😀

on Sunday there was a unexpected training for Imani Hazekamp in the sidecar!! It was the first time in the sidecar and she did a great job !!!🤠💯💪

Saterday I did all day longtrack training and Sunday I also did speedway training I started With longtrack and then I go out With the speedway bike I feel good on the bikes but after this training the rain started and training was cancelled
In the rain we made the last laps With my little big friend 😃😃

We enjoyed the weekend and look forward to the first speedway race of the seasons this Saterday at Speedway Veenoord

Sunday we went to Vledderveen for a little practice
This track is deep and rough but I like it .
My nephew Levi also made his laps on the track

First trainings of 2024 are done

Last week I was at neuenknick 🇩🇪 good to be back on the bike but was not my best race day it was the first training of the year so take a bit time for it

This weekend we go to Mettet 🇧🇪
I did the training at saterday the track was good and I enjoy it I have allot better feeding in the bike so I was happy Whit the good day practice 🏁🏁

At Sunday there was a try-out so Imani Hazekamp and Calvin Kits take the opportunity to try speedway for the first time!! They both did a good job and we make allot fun !!
