We made the top half!🏆🥳

After securing the win last Sunday against Obelix, the purple lions have guaranteed a spot in the top half of the competition, meaning we’re safe from demotion. The past few weeks have been tough, intense, and incredibly rewarding, and we couldn’t be prouder of the team.😊💪

Now, with one game against Oemoemenoe left before the split, we’re looking forward to the next challenge of competing once more against the best teams in the competition!🔥💜🦁

We’re exited to announce that we’ve been nominated for best sports team at the ESSF sportgala this year!!

We’ve had some massive improvements in the past season, in both our results and new players! We are very proud of the team, and super thankful for our Wageningen ladies as well! 💜

Yesterday we played against Rotterdames/Hook Ladies in Eindhoven. The scrums where really though without some of our usual players. The first half we all still had to wake up and gave a lot of points away. In the second half we came back to fight as lions again. Eventhough we where with only 14 players left on the field. Sadly it was not enough to give take the win. Congratulations to Silke for scoring her first try. Thanks to and for the nice game!

Next sunday we will play against the rugbeez/magrieten in Maastricht. Looking forward!

foeste moiden

from all the way op north of our kindom, de foeste moiden tried to bring flood our savanna with attacks vicous and overwhelming like an the waters they are located near. Pink waves of knock ons, and a storm of penalties late. The hailstorm turned into a mere drizzle when the lions fought back.

After a while the clouds began to clear and the sun was shining bright when the lions recharged and fougt back in their own jungle. Resulting in a huge win!

This sunday they will be heading to the Northern part near the sea, to fight a swarm of blue beez, that promises to be a spectacular circus to see! Straight after this act, the men of are off to battle the phoenixes of RFC gouda, a spectacular performance guaranteed.

Last Friday, the Lions were present at the Eindhoven Sport festival!

We enjoyed introducing the people of Eindhoven to rugby, and had great fun🏉🎉
