ESKV Odin

E.S.K.V. Odin is the strength sports association for all students in Eindhoven.

The association focusses on improving in and having fun with powerlifting, Olympic lifting, calisthenics, and fitness.

🎊CARNAVAL 2026🎊

The evening had a good start at the treasurer’s place with drinks and snacks, the only treasures we needed!🍻 Continuing to the notorious Stratum we dominated the Karaoke bar💪 Our best dressed viking had fierce make up for extra strong drinks🍺
It was a great start of carnaval with 5 more days to go!

Hey everyone! I am Gido Marteijn, this year's competition commissioner. We have been at it for a while already, but I am still very enthusiastic about keeping Odin moving forward this year!
I will be taking care of our competition teams as well as the strongman committee, powerlifting committee and Odin Cup committee. I am very proud to be involved with so many amazing members and have loved to see them compete in all strength disciplines, and will hopefully see some more awesome feats of strength this year!
One thing I have already noticed improve this year is my screaming, so I'm there if you need some hype!!

Hey everyone! I'm Julian Klaassen, this year's treasurer of E.S.K.V. Odin. Outside of keeping track of our finances, I'm also responsible for the activity committee, merchandise committee and Odin weekend committee. I do powerlifting primarily, but I also enjoy dabbling in some streetlifting and weightlifting.
I study applied physics and spend quite some time on campus studying as well. (Gains can be made both physically and mentally) So if you need to find me you'll have an equally likely chance of finding me in the gym or studying in neuron. I'd love to meet a lot of you there and am looking forward to the rest of the year!

Hi! I am Emma Vignoli, and I am the secretary of the 10th board of E.S.K.V. Odin. As such, I will be responsible for communication and member administration. After only a few months in the gym, I joined Odin to try something new: strength sports. Through Odin, I have learnt to push myself and a lot of weight, and I hope to help others do the same. Apart from powerlifting, I sometimes play guitar and have been known to solve the occasional physical equation. Let's build up muscle and Odin together!

Hey everyone! I am A***n Parkar, and I am the chairman of the 10th board of E.S.K.V. Odin. I have been a powerlifter for a year and some now and had joined Odin to start pursuing the sport more seriously. In my year in Odin I have found friends who I can call family and people who have lifted me up in spirits as they do weights. Joining Odin was the best decision as I learned a lot about powerlifting and found a home away from home. Other than Odin and powerlifting I dabble in videogames and enjoy spending time with friends. I am looking forward to the rest of the year ahead to work with you all in making Odin better in any way we can!

Tomorrow at 9 AM Sebastiaan Soto is competing in the U90 weightclass ! We have seen great performances from him before, so no doubt he will crush the competition💪

🍪Cookie Monsters Alert🍪

This holiday, the Odin girls showed some of their creativity during a cookie baking session! 🥰 The girls’ enthusiasm made it a great success, with the event organised by Renske. The cookie baking descended into ordering pizza later in the evening🍕 What better way to celebrate the holiday with the women of Odin than with a shared love for bulking? (🍪&🍕)
The company was 10/10 and the effort into these works of art was 10 ❤️
everyone had a great time and the girls community within Odin grew stronger ❤️ (literally and figurately)

🍻COBO 2025🍻

1 december 2025 our 10th board had their cobo!
No idea what waited for them, because at Odin it is tradition that the previous bird organises this festive event🎊
At the cobo the lifting platform was traded for the drinking platform. With cold drinks🍾 and strong bonds💪 the other boards were welcomed by all!
Shout out to our orde, preventing theft of our beloved association stuff and bordmembers🔒 Only 1 item was stolen!!
Thank you all for coming, it was a great night!❤️💙

✨Glowdin✨

Odin walked Glow together with an optional weighted backpack, some of us deemed the backpacks too light 😤

With a total of 7 kilometers travelled by foot, many gorgeous attractions were admired from this year’s Glow! 🤩

Prior to the walk members fueled themselves by enjoying a nice dinner together at the SSC Cafe.

Thanks to the AC for organizing this wonderful experience!
