Would you like to become experienced or have fun with white-water kayaking or freestyling, then join our summer-intro at Okawa!
This year we will again organise our summer-intro. This consists of four lessons in the swimming pool at the SSC, where you will learn the basics of white-water and freestyle kayaking. To finish the course, we are going for a weekend abroad and you can try out your white-water skills. For joining the lessons and the weekend you are expected to be able to swim. Participation in the lessons is required to participate at the weekend.
The location of the practice lessons is the swimming pool at the student sport center. You only need to bring your swimming gear and a towel.
The dates and times are:
- Monday 12-09 20:30-22:00
- Friday 16-09 19:00-20:30
- Monday 19-09 20:30-22:00
- Friday 23-09 19:00-20:30
The weekend will be two days, the 24th - 25th of September. The location and other information will follow during the lessons.
Price: the lessons are free of charge, the costs made during the white-water weekend will be divided among the participants which are expected to be around 60 euros.
