Today Maxime was gifted with his first solo flight, and as the tradition mandates, he received some flowers from each person at the field, which formed a beautiful bouquet 💐

Congratulations to , composed of a lot of ZES members! They are developing an electric modular power train for a Cessna 150, to be later expanded onto a kit for general aviation aircrafts.

Today is the 55th birthday of the ZES! For 55 years, it has been teaching students how to fly. For 55 years, it has been bringing joy to the weekends of its members. For 55 years its members can’t keep their feet on the ground. For 55 years, it has been flying high in the dutch skies, german skies, belgian skies, french skies, czech skies and many others. And the ZES never felt more alive! 11 Lustrums is something to be proud of! Leonardo da Vinci once said: “For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the Earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.” Proost for 55 more years of a lot of fun and +5 thermals!
