SUMMER TRAINING
As always Ikenamikan offers the possibility to continue trainings during summer break.

Tranings will be organized on Mondays on our regular training times from 18:00-19:30 and will be offered from July 8 up to and including August 12 at Gymzaal Heideveldstraat 4 in Eindhoven.

Trainings are open to anyone practicing Shotokan karate, or any other style of karate, or anyone who wants to try karate.

Great interview with our Sensei Elmo. It underlines how we train at IkeNamiKan

SKM Issue 160 features Sensei Elmo Diederiks 6th Dan WKF.
After reading his excellent in-depth Document (thesis) which we have posted on the SKM website, (Articles & Interviews) by Elmo Diederiks, a 50 year old Shotokan instructor from the Netherlands, I definitely wanted to do an interview with him. Elmo is at the age where he has been through and experienced both worlds of Karate, Traditional and also WKF Sport/Karate; the story shines a light on a modern, progressive approach to training.

Met een hele kleine delegatie van alleen maar 3 deelnemers team Ikenamikan is deelgenomen op de Open SKI Holland in Rosmalen .
Het was de eerste wedstrijd voor Rafael en Jarno om de "echte" kumite te oefenen . Ze hebben heel goed gevochten en alvast met meer ervaring rijker.
Olivia is in kata een mooie 🥉3e plaats gewonnen .

Ski Holland
