What do we do?

There are 3 types of Viking combat:

-western: in the target zones, fighters with light protective equipment attack each other with little force, except for the head

-Huskarl: target zone is the whole body, except the feet, with light protective equipment they attack each other with little force

-east: in the target zones, they attack each other with heavy protective equipment, including the head

The focus of training is on individual duels, inwhich you need technique, endurance and speed.
Then there are also shield wall fights (two lines facing each other). Here we train cooperation, coordination, communication, speed, strength and technique.

Basically, we fight in a western style, but occasionally also in huskarl. In terms of meetings, you can find information on FB.

In addition to sword/axe/shield/spear/seax/knife training, we deal with historical clothing and historical craft techniques.

From time to time, we visit early medieval themed events and joint training sessions with other teams here and abroad.

We are in contact with, among others, the Hősök Kapuja reenactor group from Hungary and the Historische Viking Vecht Zuid (HVVZ) group.
