Another new face joins the MX-5 Cup Benelux! Dréke Janssen will line up on the grid together with JW Raceservice in the MX-5 Cup Benelux. The former Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux driver will do everything he can, alongside his teammate Xavier van der Schoot, to put the white-and-blue colors on the podium.

Explaining the Rookie Cup within the Mazda MX-5 Cup Benelux

The Rookie Cup is a competitive environment where rookie drivers can measure themselves against each other while racing alongside the regular field. It gives newcomers additional opportunities to fight for podiums and establish themselves early in their racing careers.

Eligibility is limited to drivers aged 21 or younger with a maximum of two years of experience in a race series at or below the Mazda MX-5 Cup Benelux level. The Rookie Cup champion is no longer eligible for the following season and will move up into the overall championship.
