🇩🇪 A wonderful reference from Germany!
Sometimes, results speak louder than words. We are therefore incredibly proud to share this outstanding reference from our good friend Robert Maaß of Germany.

His hen "Lea", a granddaughter of our foundation breeder Linus, continues to perform at the highest level. With three Regional Federation victories and an impressive list of top prizes, she has proven her exceptional class time and time again.

The overall team performance was equally remarkable. In this particular race, Robert entered 28 pigeons, with no fewer than 22 winning prizes under extremely demanding conditions.

It is wonderful to see our pigeons continuing to excel, not only in the Netherlands but also in Germany and in numerous One Loft Races around the world.

Congratulations, Robert, and thank you for your continued trust in our pigeons! 👏

Just two weeks after the Final, the AS Golden Race organized its Extra Final. With five of our own pigeons excluded from participation due to their top positions in the Final, our remaining team once again managed to compete at the very front of the result sheet.

Against 289 activated pigeons, we achieved positions 7, 13, 32, 43, 76 and 81, with 9 of our 12 activated pigeons finishing in the first third of the result.

In this article, we take a closer look at these performances, the bloodlines behind them, and explain how our partnerships with Team Ebben-Nys and Team Ebben-Renkum contribute to our One Loft Race program.

Another top performance for a granddaughter of our foundation c**k Linus!
NL24-8145760, raced by Frans Strikker (Hengelo), won her second 1st prize of the season, this time against 1,889 pigeons from Hirson. Earlier this year, she already won 1st against 2,811 pigeons and 4th against 18,432 pigeons from Marche-en-Famenne.
A granddaughter of Linus through a daughter of the legendary pair Linus x Katja, proving once again the strength of this family.

Ebben pigeons at the foundation of a unique hattrick in Germany 🇩🇪
Robert Maaß won the first 5 prizes against 2,710 pigeons from Modła Królewska, with 30 prizes from 36 entries. One of the stars was “Blue Holly”, bred from an original pigeon from the lofts of Will & Falco Ebben.

1st against 2,811 pigeons and 4th against 18,432 pigeons for Frans Strikker from Hengelo 🇳🇱
The winning hen is raced from a team consisting exclusively of pigeons originating from our loft and is a granddaughter of our foundation pair “Linus” x “Katja”. Her mother is a full sister to both “Pandemic” and “Olympic Pizza”.
A fantastic result and great to see these bloodlines continue to perform at the highest level.

Outstanding performance for Team GPS this past weekend. 🏆

Their first arrival, NL25-272, achieved an impressive 4th prize against 10,032 pigeons. As a youngster, he had already shown his class by winning 5th prize from Chimay against 8,850 pigeons — clear proof of consistent quality and strong genetics.

What makes this result even more special is the pedigree behind this pigeon. He is bred from "Andreas 315", a top breeder from Andreas Möller, well known for producing high-class racing pigeons, and father of "Vidal", 5th National Ace Pigeon De Allerbeste 2023–2024, paired with "The 957", bred directly by Will & Falco Ebben.

"The 957" is a daughter of the renowned breeding pair "Piet & Peke", two true cornerstone breeders in our loft, responsible for numerous top performers and a line that continues to deliver results at the highest level. 🧬

Congratulations to Team GPS-Auctions Elshout on this fantastic achievement. We now look forward to seeing which pigeon will be their fastest next weekend.

First official race from Mettet – 186 km

Today marks our first official race of the season. The pigeons were released in Mettet at a distance of 186 km. Liberation took place at 08:10.

Weather conditions in the morning were generally calm, with light cloud cover and a light southwesterly wind. Cloud cover is expected to increase later in the morning, with a chance of light drizzle in some areas.

This is also our first race in the new federation. We are now positioned at one of the longer distances, whereas in Section 8 we were traditionally among the shortest distances. That makes this a new challenge for us, which we approach with great interest.

Unfortunately, the pigeons are not released in one single liberation, but divided into East and West groups. We are not in favor of these group liberations and would prefer one joint liberation for a fair and sporting race.

We expect the first pigeons to arrive around 10:15.

Both at our loft in Beneden-Leeuwen (W & F Ebben) and in Boven-Leeuwen (Combination) we have entered 22 pigeons today.
