your personal goals. PERSONAL TRAINING: ELITE PERFORMANCE
Patron provides personal training on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis, whereby a training program is specifically tailored to your needs to achieve your personal goals. Your Personal Trainer will guide and coach you during training sessions. Personal Training, however, goes far beyond physical training itself; in essence, is means we jointly work on identifying and addressing key aspects for development or further improvement of foundational factors, such as – and not limited to – strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, lifestyle, nutrition, mental fitness. An in-depth baseline session (intake, testing and measurement) is part of the program; this session provides the personal trainer with critical information about your past and present. This data is used to develop your program and to track progress throughout the program against each milestone. Your program is developed on the basis of a systematic approach, periodisation, and breaks down your main goal into sub goals/milestones. This enables a transparent way of training, tracking progress and adjust your program if and when required. Like with sports specific training for athletes, which of the foundational factors to address and the respective training methods to apply to achieve optimal performance, depends on many aspects like: kind of sports you are into or have been into in the past, your current/target level. As athletes, we train with the aim to develop and improve a specific function or performance. To be successful in achieving this, it is imperative to determine which foundational factors of the human body need to be addressed and how. For almost any sports activity, these factors can be broken down into sports specific foundational requirements: Strength, Endurance, Speed, Flexibility and Coordination. Which of the foundational factors to address and the respective training methods to apply to achieve optimal performance, depends on many aspects like: kind of sport, current/target level of individual, moment in/out season. In collaboration with head coaches/trainers of the respective athlete, Patron Training develops tailored programs and trains athletes to further optimise their performance on the relevant foundational factors, whilst keeping in mind the leading principles of their sport.
