Amsterdam student rugby club Ascrum is looking for a new director of rugby/head coach. Ascrum is one of The Netherlands’ oldest student clubs, with 3 senior teams, a veteran’s team and over 60 active players. Ascrum’s 1st team just promoted to the highest national division, with Ascrum’s 2nd and 3rd team playing in the third and fourth divisions, respectively.
Primary tasks will include training on Tuesday and Thursday and coaching on gamedays. Important to note is that while the main focus would be on the 1st team, we are looking for someone who is willing to take on a club-wide responsibility in creating a game plan and structure that can be implemented across all teams, working coherently with additional training and support staff. We aim to uphold a broad and dynamic selection in which there is room for maneuverability between teams depending on individual progression and squad requirements.
