With feelings of pride and satisfaction at having achieved this.

Jurgen van Tiggelen and I are pleased to say we have passed our 4th dan grading at the 10th Shorinji Kempo European Taikai and WSKO Study Session in Berlin and we would like to thank WSKO president Kouma So, Hiroshi Aosaka sensei, Shoji Arai sensei, Masaharu Kousaka sensei and all other instructors and our examiners Riccardo Marchetti sensei and Douglas Beard sensei.

Many thanks also to our fellow examinees, participants and Shorinji Kempo Germany who organised this event.
The learning process was great and we had a lot of fun too. Hereby a few pictures with the sensei’s who were in Berlin and played an important role in our development and journey in Shorinji Kempo.
Last but not least many thanks to our sensei Hiromi Tojo who for decades guided the start of our Shorinji Kempo journey in Amsterdam.

For those of you who will be in Amsterdam this summer: training here at the Shorinji Kempo Amsterdam USC Branch continues as usual. And yes, we work hard and have fun. You are more than welcome to join in.

Campagne ‘Wij Eisen De Nacht Op’ over de 450.000 euro heen!

Na enkele uren stond de teller al op 20.000 euro, waarmee het oorspronkelijke doel van 12.000 euro meteen was overschreden. Zondag stond de teller op 200.000 euro, maandag passeerde we de grens van 450.000 euro. Inmiddels hebben bijna 17.000 personen en bedrijven geld gedoneerd. Met het extra geld wordt de campagne landelijk uitgebreid en kan deze langer blijven draaien.
