My name is Marka, I graduated over 10 years ago and have extensive experience, including giving lectures on the use of photography in mental health. My area of expertise is body-oriented art therapy and photo art therapy, and I also work with family constellations (addressing intergenerational traumas and patterns), shamanic journeys, meditations, and Reiki energy (My Master is Bonita Choi-O’Neil). Currently, I focus on working with women in both group settings and one-on-one sessions. My work addresses body image issues, inner conflicts, fears, early traumas, and somatic symptoms. I also specialize in female-specific concerns, such as psychological infertility, painful periods, and endometriosis. I’ve had three cases of successful natural pregnancy through this approach, using images and sensations to communicate with the body and its organs. In addition to my main focus, I have also supported clients during cancer treatment and remission, helping them work through feelings of body betrayal. My approach is about expressing what has been suppressed. This is especially helpful for those who find it difficult to remember, speak about, or face their experiences due to shame or pain. By tapping into implicit memory, inner knowledge, and intuition, we create space for healing. No artistic skills or creativity are required for this process, as it is accessible to everyone.
