A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Amsterdam with modern facilities. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy Amsterdam (BJJAA) is a new gym in Amsterdam. Founded in June 2014.

The goal of the academy is to spread and teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Amsterdam in a modern facility where everybody can train in a nice and friendly atmosphere. As a team we are affiliated with the world famous CheckMat Team. So you can expect seminars and camps with really high level black belt (world)champions. Besides BJJ, we will also offer Yoga and Strength & Conditioning classes. These are

a great addition to your training. Classes:
Monday - Thursday: 19:00 - 20:30 (fundamentals & advanced )
Sunday: 16:00 - 18:00 (drilling & sparring only)

We are back!
The past few months have been a turbulent time with the fast and global rise of COVID-19. Many restrictions were given to overcome the worsening situation, which included a prohibition of all sport activities.
These restrictions seem to have come to fruition and as a result indoor sports with full contact are allowed again from the 1st of July. Based on this outcome we will reopen the Academy in July 🎉.
All active members will soon receive an update by email with the BJJAA reopening guideline.
We would once again like to thank all of you that have supported us with ongoing memberships during the closure of the academy. We look forward to sharing the mats with you again 🥋.
