Several respected ex-players from both Amsterdam Sabotage and Xistence, joined up their forces, to set up a complete new powerhouse team. Something that the Dutch paintball scene has never seen before. By combining the skills and experience, out of rubble of these vanished teams, Amsterdam HEAT started to take form. From a solid plan on paper, to a solid squad of players. We managed to get the sup
port every pro team needs to perform, we hooked up with Paintballsupplies.nl. Arend Pilon the CEO of this wholesale and retail company, fronted us up, and made playing in the highest European level came true, better known as the Champions league Millennium series. HEAT made Dutch paintball history. With a clear vision, and goals, HEAT went in to the CPL series, with solely homegrown players. All players had their fair part of experience in the semi-pro circuit but none of them had ever been a part of a CPL team. After some long drawn try-outs and selection weekends in Germany a core Group of 10 players made it to the pro-squad. Other players go a chance to prove and evolve themselves in our second team, also competing in the millennium series. Amsterdam HEAT is hybrid team, built out off 5 dutch players and 3 German players. Our goal is to compete in the CPL series and to take our fair share of podium places in the upcoming future. HEAT is all about friendship, sportsmanship and most importantly: Catalyzing the Dutch paintball scene in both growth and organization. You can’t believe how many people a team like HEAT needs to perform, from committed players in the second team, to random Dutch or European paintballers whom help us out whenever they can. Without the support of all our sponsors we wouldn’t have reached the position we are in today. Unity is what made it happen, unity is what will make us successful in the years to come! That being said we’ve even decided to take on another merger. Almost ten years later we are combining forces with our rivals once again. This time under the name H2B: Heat Bad Boys. We’re proud to play in the same jerseys with the kids we saw grow up on the paintball fields we dominated. Here’s to another ten years of Dutch paintball greatness!
