Binnen de muren van De School wordt op professionele en integere wijze yoga en meditatie beoefend. Om een ieder vervolgens te stimuleren van de mat af te komen om het gele

erde op Hollandse bodem in de praktijk te brengen. Naast een rijk en divers aanbod van kwalitatief hoogstaande yogalessen van professionele leraren, biedt De School tal van trainingen, workshops, lezingen over tal van onderwerpen, als; spiritualiteit, gezondheid, voeding, mindfullness, massage, pilates met als gemene deler bewustwording.

Ons lichaam is voortdurend bezig met aanpassen, herstellen en opnieuw balans vinden. Maar langdurige stress, opgeslagen spanning of ingrijpende ervaringen kunnen dit natuurlijke proces beïnvloeden.

Binnen yogatherapie kijken we daarom niet alleen naar een klacht, maar naar de mens als geheel. Naar het lichaam, het zenuwstelsel, de adem, emoties en de manier waarop ervaringen zich in ons kunnen vastzetten.

Tijdens onze Yogatherapie Opleiding leer je hoe je deze verschillende lagen kunt herkennen en hoe je jezelf en anderen kunt ondersteunen met onder andere yoga, ademwerk, meditatie, somatisch werk en kennis over het autonome zenuwstelsel. 🌿

Niet om het lichaam te forceren om te herstellen, maar om omstandigheden te creëren waarin er weer ruimte kan ontstaan voor regulatie, veerkracht en verbinding.

WORKSHOP HIGHLIGHT | Inversions: Trusting the Unknown with Kim, September 19th

Turn your world upside down 🙃✨

Inversions ask for more than strength. They challenge us to trust, stay present and find steadiness when everything feels a little unfamiliar.

In this workshop, we’ll explore Headstand, Pincha Mayurasana and Handstand through drills, wall work, partner exercises, creative transitions and progressive variations. You’ll build the awareness, control and confidence to approach inversions with more intention, whether you’re taking your first steps or deepening an existing practice.

Already joined this masterclass before? You’re very welcome to return. We’ll revisit the foundations while exploring new techniques and variations to keep challenging your practice.

Meet Lila (24) ✨ who completed our Pilates Teacher Training in March!

“Something that I took away from the training was that I was better able to understand my own body, having grown up with scoliosis. Once I understood how Pilates benefited me, I felt more confident guiding others as well.” 🙏

Lila didn’t start the training thinking she would become a teacher, but somewhere along the way, that changed. She discovered how much she loved teaching and has now been teaching at a women’s wellbeing studio since July.

We love seeing where the training can take you, sometimes in a direction you didn’t expect 💫

Je schouders zitten vast. Je adem zit hoog. Je slaapt onrustig. Of die ene klacht blijft steeds terugkomen. 🌿

We zijn vaak geneigd om te denken: hoe kom ik hier zo snel mogelijk vanaf?

Maar wat als je een andere vraag stelt:

Wat probeert mijn lichaam me eigenlijk te vertellen? ✨

Dat is een belangrijk uitgangspunt binnen yogatherapie. Niet alleen kijken naar de klacht, maar naar het geheel: je ademhaling, energie, stress, slaap en de signalen die je lichaam je geeft.

Binnen yogatherapie werken we onder andere met yogahoudingen, ademhaling, meditatie en ontspanning 🧘‍♀️
