And that's number 2...Quick H1 vs Thamen 12-11. Trailing 0-7 in the top of the 2nd inning, we came back strong by scoring 7 runs in the bottom half of that same inning. After 8 innings, we were leading 10-8 but Thamen refused to surrender and scored 3 runs in the top half of the 9th.
Then the incredible happened. On their almost unhittable 3rd pitcher, Gedeon hit one out of the park with one out. Nishel (who had hit a homerun in the 2nd) reached base on a walk, moved up to second, stole third with two outs and secured the win for us by scoring the winning run after a bad throw from their catcher to the third baseman.
What a game ❤️✨️! A couple of incredible catches by our outfielders Max and Sidney, great pitching performance by our new pitcher Kevin, who took over in the second and kept Thamen at bay for the next 5 innings, giving us the chance to fight ourselves back into this game. Great debut also from our new catcher Daiki.
