👷 Participants must be strictly over 18 and for safety reasons, high viz vests are mandatory.

🏃🏼‍♀️ We are still buzzing from weekend!

💛Congratulations to team for putting on another fantastic event and the beautiful tribute to Ellen Cassidy

🏅A huge well done to all our 25+ members who took part in the 10k, half and full marathons, it was an amazing day for the club and an especially big day for those running their first Cork City Marathon, hope ye got the bug now 😜

🙏🏻 A special thank you to our supporters big and small who popped up all along the route, it truly kept us motivated - we appreciate you so much!

Onwards and upwards - Wibblies abú! 💙🤍

💛 This Sunday, Cork City Marathon is honouring the memory of Ellen Cassidy, who tragically passed away following last year’s event, and the organisers have asked competitors and spectators alike to wear something yellow in her memory.

💛 Wibblies AC are proud to be a part of this heartfelt tribute to a wonderful young woman that the world lost far too soon. Our club members running the full marathon, half marathon, and 10k, and our supporters, will wear yellow wristbands to express our solidarity with her family and friends.

🌪️It has been a busy few weeks for the Wibblies, so time for a catch up!

🏅Two marathoners in the space of a week! Congratulations to Bronwyn Rout on completing TCS London Marathon and Fanahan Moriarty on his Regeneron Great Limerick Run marathon PB 💪🏻

🏅Congrats too to Sandra O'Sullivan on the Tinryland Half Marathon and her “holey medal” to show for it 😜

💙We had an absolutely spectacular turnout by 22 club members at Ballintotis 4 Mile! Unbelievable number but it just shows how much we love that race, it’s the one that kicks off summer running 🏃🏼‍♀️

🧁Another amazing turnout for Wibblies at Carraig na bhFear GAA 5km, another great race that we love to support, and the Wibblies ladies banged it out at Cork BHAA Stryker 4 Mile!

🏅 Fiona Cooper did us proud in Midleton at their 5 mile road race last night 💪🏻

🙏🏻 And finally, a huge thank you to Our Lady Crowned Credit Union for their continued support of our club, as they are kindly sponsoring our next Couch to 5k programme (coming this autumn!) for a second year running with their Community Chest grant, we are so grateful for their support and encouragement ❤️

😊 Looking forward to the summer running now, with Bweeng Trail Blazers A.C. 5km Eagle Athletic Club Cheetah Run and of course, the BIGGIE - Analog Devices Cork City Marathon coming up!
