I feel like the world would be a slightly better place if we all could speak the language of music!
Have you ever wished you could play a musical instrument? Have you ever thought to yourself: “Playing music sounds fun but I don’t think it’s for me”?
I disagree! I think it definitely is for you!
I fully believe that music can be for everyone. Playing music can be a fun past time, full-blown p
rofession and it can even be used as a therapeutic, healing tool! You truly don’t need much to start getting lost in the wonderful world of music.
Music coach Janis Cudars. I’m 23 and I’m a music teacher with 3 years of teaching experience. I’ve taught piano (and to a lesser extent music theory) to over 70 students in those 3 years. Students varied in age, youngest being 5 years old and the oldest – in their late 30’s.
From my earliest days I've been surrounded by music. My dad was a saxophone teacher and he would often take me to his work (which would later become the school I went to). At 5 years of age I was presented with a choice - what instrument do I want to play? It was a hard decision as I wasn't quite sure yet, but I ended up picking the piano.
I spent 13 years total in music school. Overall I’m super happy I did it because music is a language that is so worth learning (even if on a basic level). However, learning a lot of music theory may seem daunting. Which is where I come in!
Over the years I’ve picked up some other instruments including but not limited to – trumpet, guitar, ukulele and others. (The first instrument is definitely the hardest to learn! :))
What I offer is music coaching tied to each person individually! Skill levels vary from beginner to intermediate-advanced. Your age doesn’t matter.
-Do you have a young child who is expressing interest in music?
- Are you an older person who has ever felt like learning to play an instrument?
- Are you just looking for a new hobby? :)
Feel free to leave a message if so!
