Salsa Marin Dance Academy A multi-use dance/community studio w/ rental options. We offer Private/Semi-Private & Group lessons. For native dancers, dance is a way of life.

We feel music, express ourselves rhythmically and heal through movement. At Salsa Marin, our Mission is simple: We want to share our culture and the way we dance with you! We teach a unique blend of Cuban and ballroom style Salsa, which makes it elegant yet distinctive, with a traditional Caribbean flavor.

Being "advanced" is about the quality of your basics.

A "basic" is just a base technique for other movements.

At first your ability to execute basics is immature. You can do them but they're not impressive technically or visually.

With practice, your basics become mature full-bodied movements that are technically and visually impressive.

There's a basic basic and an advanced basic. Keep leveling up!
