Dear Mums,

As we begin to plan and prepare for another school year, it is important that we prepare not only their school supplies, uniforms, and books, but also their hearts and their journey through prayer.

A new school year comes with new experiences, new teachers, new friendships, new opportunities, and new challenges. As parents, we can commit every aspect of our children’s school lives into the hands of God.

For the next 4 Sundays in August, Mums Prayer Hub will be gathering to pray intentionally for our children as they prepare to return to school.

We will be praying for:
- God’s protection and preservation
- Wisdom, understanding and academic excellence
- Good friendships and godly influences
- Confidence, discipline and focus
- Favour with teachers and school authorities
- Growth in character and spiritual development

Happy Children’s Day to every precious child in our community!

Today, we celebrate the gifts, destinies, and bright futures God has entrusted into our hands. As mothers and intercessors, we stand in faith over our children, declaring the Word of the Lord concerning them:

“And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” — Isaiah 54:13

We decree that our children will:
* Be taught by God Himself
* Walk in wisdom, excellence, and truth
* Enjoy great peace in their minds, hearts, and lives
* Grow strong in purpose and godly character
* Shine as lights in their generation

May this generation of children arise with bold faith, sound minds, and unwavering love for God. We pray that no voice of confusion, fear, or destruction will prevail over them. They are preserved, nurtured, and established in righteousness.
