What a journey for our Nigeria U19 Female Team. The Junior Female YellowGreens have shown incredible determination, discipline, and teamwork to reach the finals unbeaten.

We are especially proud of our girls from Edo Cricket Academy, who continue to represent Edo and Nigeria with such courage and commitment. Seeing them grow from the Academy to the national stage is truly heartwarming.

One more game to go. We believe in you, girls. Go into the final with confidence, give it your all, and make this journey even more memorable.

A look back at the training session led by Coach Steve Mangongo, Head Coach and High Performance Manager of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, with the Nigeria U19 Female Team in camp in Benin City as they prepare for the ICC U19 Women’s Cricket World Cup Africa Qualifier Division 1.

The session focused on preparation, discipline, skill development, and building the team for the challenge ahead, alongside a training session with the Edo State Men’s Team.

As part of his official visit to Edo State, the Head Coach and High Performance Manager of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Steve Mangongo, alongside officials of the Edo State Cricket Association, paid courtesy visits to key government stakeholders.

The delegation visited the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Complex and the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Communications & Digital Economy, Edo State, at the Edo State Government House, Benin City.

These engagements underscore the shared commitment to advancing cricket development, fostering strategic partnerships, and strengthening support for sports in Edo State.

The Edo State Cricket Association had the privilege of receiving the Head Coach and High Performance Manager of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, Steve Mangongo, on his official visit to Edo State.

The visit began with a tour of the High Performance Centre, where he inspected the training facilities and ongoing development projects aimed at strengthening cricket in the state. His presence reflects a shared commitment to building a stronger cricket structure and creating more opportunities for players to thrive.
