Our extended warm congratulations to Basega Girls FC on their impressive achievement of finishing third place in the Girls Competition organized in celebration of Oyo State @ 50.

The academy also proudly celebrates its two outstanding female players, LOLADE and FAVOUR, who were part of the victorious squad that made history in the competition. Their dedication, resilience, and excellent performance throughout the tournament played a significant role in Basega Girls FC’s remarkable success.

TOHEEB OPEYEMI LEADS ADS HIGH SCHOOL TO GLORIOUS INTER-SCHOOL FINAL VICTORY AT OYO @50 CELEBRATION.

One of Our talented youngster defender, TOHEEB OPEYEMI , delivered a brilliant performance as he represented Ads High School, Saki, in the highly anticipated inter-school final against Olivet Secondary School, Oyo, helping his side secure a convincing 3–1 victory.

At the final whistle, Ads High School emerged champions, proudly lifting the trophy and celebrating a historic triumph. The victory marked a significant moment for the school and further highlighted the quality of talent being developed within Iwalewa Football Club.

We officially announced the appointment of Coach Olaleye Abiodun Ridwan as a new member of the club’s coaching crew.

The club expressed delight in welcoming Coach Ridwan, who joins the technical team with the aim of contributing his wealth of experience and expertise to the development and success of the squad. His addition is expected to further strengthen the club’s technical structure and improve overall team performance.

Speaking on the appointment, the club management described Coach Ridwan as a committed and passionate football professional whose knowledge of the game will positively impact the players both on and off the pitch.

WE CELEBRATES MORE EXCELLENCE WITH SPECIAL PLAYER AWARDS

We further celebrated excellence and dedication as it honoured more players with special awards across all categories of the team during its award ceremony.

In addition to the Best Player recognitions, players were also rewarded in key categories such as Most Valuable Player, Best Goalkeeper, and Most Consistent Player, acknowledging their outstanding contributions, discipline, and commitment throughout the season.
The club also recognised excellence between the posts by awarding the Best Goalkeeper honours to players who consistently demonstrated bravery, sharp reflexes, and reliability in goal, playing a crucial role in their teams’ defensive strength.

Furthermore, the Most Consistent Player awards were given to individuals who showed remarkable dedication, regular improvement, and unwavering commitment in training and matches across every category of the team.

IWALEWA FOOTBALL CLUB HONOURS OUTSTANDING PLAYERS WITH BEST PLAYER AWARDS

Iwalewa Football Club has continued its tradition of recognising excellence as it honoured outstanding players across its various categories with the Best Player Award, celebrating hard work, discipline, and exceptional performances throughout the period under review.

In the Senior Team category, Adeshina Toreeq emerged as the Best Player, following a series of impressive displays that highlighted his consistency, commitment, and influence on the pitch.

The youth teams also received deserved recognition. Ajuwon Baaki was named Best Player in the Under-15 category, while Ibrahim Abdullahi claimed the award in the Under-13 category after an outstanding showing that set him apart among his peers. In the Under-10 category, Ibrahim Muhammed was honoured for his remarkable talent, passion, and promising performances at such a young age.

The club congratulated all the award recipients, praising their dedication and encouraging them to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to continuous improvement.
