Let's talk about Ideas. There's a lot of motivational content out there that encourages you to start with what you have, to start even if you're afraid, and it gives you that exciting feeling of starting something new. My only problem with this is that the excitement doesn't always last. One crucial thing to understand about Ideas is that they are like waves; the same Idea you have now, someone else can have with every single detail. For example, you may have the Idea to start an all African restaurant on Tenui Street, opposite a Catholic church, importing food from Nigeria and Ghana, and the specifics can go on. But someone you've never spoken to could come and establish the same thing.
So Ideas are like wavelengths, and just like radio stations, anyone can tune in.
Second and most importantly, Ideas have an expiration date. Yes, they can become outdated. You won't always have the time, and you can't always say, "I will do it later." Someone once said, "Destiny can only be delayed; it can't be denied," but that's not entirely true. Some people have been denied because they never knew they could run out of time.
Imagine you had a killer idea that could make you millions, but you need to buy USD at a cheaper rate to achieve it. I'm sure you know how difficult that will be with the new administration in place. They claim "Let the poor breathe, don't suffocate them," but in reality, they are the ones suffocating them😂. Imagine how much you would have made if you executed that Idea when the former president was in power or the one before? Listen, regret is the worst feeling ever, and one way to avoid it is to not wait for everything to be perfect.
Perfection should be your goal, not the basis for starting out.
