OISA Pro League Final: Too Hot to Handle, Campos Experience Proves Too Much for Feeders
The much anticipated all Campos final lived up to its billing as Campos FC asserted their dominance over their junior counterparts, Campos Feeders, with a commanding 3–0 victory to lift the OISA Pro League 2026 trophy on Sunday January 4, 2026 at the OISA stadium in Ngor Okpala LGA, Imo State.
As part of the OISA @10 Anniversary celebrations, the match was a test of supremacy and a showcase of the rich footballing culture within the Campos dynasty.
Campos senior team, wasted no time in stamping their authority on the game. Stephen Nathaniel, struck twice in the opening half, displaying composure and clinical finishing that left the Feeders’ defense scrambling.
His brace gave the senior side a comfortable cushion.
As the second half commenced, the Feeders regrouped and played with more intent. They created chances, struck the upright, and tested their opponents defense, but luck deserted them.
Campos FC, however, remained composed and punished their opponents once more when Onyedikachi Ehirim added a third goal to put the contest beyond doubt. The senior side’s superiority was clear, and their experience shone through in the decisive moments.
Coach Gaptus, also known as (“Wicked Mbaise Jellof Coach”) praised his players for sticking to the plan and enacting their superiority, emphasizing the importance of finishing the job early.
While Coach Obinna, admitted his team’s failure to follow instructions in the first half but lauded their improved second-half performance, noting their missed chances as the turning point.
Individual awards went to, Oche Emmanuel,as Best Goalkeeper, Nlemedim Ugochikwu as Best Defender, while Chukwuemeka Nnadi as Most Valuable Player (MVP) with Gaptus Chibuike as Best Coach.
Campos FC’s emphatic 3–0 triumph over the Feeders crowned them champions of the OISA Pro League 2026, reaffirming their status as the kings of the OISA stage. The final was not just a victory, it was a celebration of football excellence, family rivalry, and the enduring legacy of Campos football club.
