Andre Onana saved a stoppage-time penalty as Manchester United secured a remarkable 1 - 0 win against FC Copenhagen on the night Old Trafford paid tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton (24/10/2023).

Report as Harry Maguire’s header rised Manchester United from the bottom of Group A with a 1 - 0 Champions League win over FC Copenhagen at Old Trafford to the 3rd position on Group A table, but only after Andre Onana saved Jordan Larsson's stoppage-time penalty.

Erik ten Hag unsure whether Jadon Sancho will play for Manchester United again




Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United looks bleak after Erik ten Hag admitted that he is not sure whether the winger will further his play for the club anymore.

The 23-year-old is training away from the first team as a disciplinary measure after claiming on social media that he had been made a “scapegoat” following his omission from the squad for the defeat at Arsenal before the international break.

Ten Hag hinted that it was not just this omission that was taken into consideration when deciding the punishment, though repeatedly declined the opportunity to speak about Sancho when asked at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s visit of Brighton.

The episode remain similar to the way Cristiano Ronaldo was jettisoned out of the club after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan last year and Ten Hag said he did not know how long Sancho’s disciplinary procedure would take or whether he will represent United anymore.

🔙 In 2004, a boy named Joe Ruane turned up at Old Trafford with a sign calling for the signing of some guy called Wayne Rooney, a 19-year-old English striker who had scored 9 goals in 30 appearances for Everton that season.

😱 The TV cameraman focused on the little guy and his sign. Sir Alex Ferguson then saw the request, analyzed the player and decided to SIGN HIM in for £25.6 million. To thank Joe for the recommendation, Sir Alex invited him to Rooney's presentation and together they took a photo that went down in history.

Rooney would go on to become one of Manchester United's top idols and one of the best signings in Premier League history.
